How to Transfer in PayPal


Transferring Money to and From Your Bank Account
1. Log in to your PayPal account. Link your bank account to your PayPal account if you haven't already done so. Click 'Add or Edit a Bank Account' under 'Profile.' Follow the on-screen instructions to link your bank account. You need your bank's routing number and your bank account number.
2. Move your mouse over 'Withdraw' on your account homepage. Click 'Transfer to Bank Account.' Select the bank you wish to transfer the funds to, if you have multiple bank accounts.
3. Enter the amount you wish to transfer in the provided text box. Click 'Continue.' Review your information, which includes the transfer amount and your selected bank. Click 'Submit.' Your funds arrive in your bank account within three to four business days.
4. Mouse over 'Add Funds' and click 'Add Funds From Bank Account' to transfer money from your bank account to your PayPal account. Follow Step three to transfer your money.
Withdrawing Money Via Check
5. Sign into your PayPal account. Click 'Withdraw' and select 'Request a Check.'
6. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Choose an address from the dropdown box if you have more than one address. Click 'Add an Address' if you want to add an address. Click 'Continue.'
7. Look over your information and make sure the amount you want to withdraw and your address are correct. Click 'Submit.' You receive your check within one to two weeks.
Transferring Money to Another PayPal User
8. Sign into your PayPal account and click the 'Send Money' tab. Enter the person's PayPal email address or mobile phone number that's attached to the person's PayPal account.
9. Type in the amount you wish to send and the currency you wish to send it as. Choose why you're sending the money, such as for goods or services or as a gift.
10. Click 'Continue.' Review the amount you're sending and verify that you're sending it to the correct person. Click 'Submit.'
