How to Make Church Offerings With PayPal

Check to See if Your Church Accepts PayPal
1. Check your church's website for a PayPal button. If you can't find one on the main page, check for a 'donations' or a 'stewardship' link.
2. Contact church staff (the church treasurer or webmaster are probably your best bets) if you cannot find a donation button and ask if the church accepts PayPal.
3. Ask what email address you should send your offering to if the church does accept PayPal payments but doesn't yet have a donation button on its website.

4. Double-check to make sure the email address you are using is the correct email address for PayPal donations to your church. (It can be hard to retrieve money if it has been sent to the wrong address.)
5. Log into your PayPal account.
6. Click on the 'Send Money' button at the top of the screen.
7. Enter your church's email address and the amount of money that you wish to donate.
8. Click on the button that says 'Personal' and then click on 'Other.'
9. Click the 'Continue' button and review your payment. You will be offered the option to send an email with your payment. If your offering is for a special project, you should indicate this in the email.
10. Hit the 'Send Money' button when you are ready to make your donation.

12. Enter your credit card information (if you choose to pay via credit card) or your user name/password (if you want to pay with your PayPal account).
13. Confirm that the payment amount is correct, and click the 'Donate Now' button.
