How to Collect Money After Shipping From eBay on PayPal

1. Send money to others. If you sold a childhood toy on eBay and want to split the proceeds with your sister, you can do that by sending her half of the money through PayPal. Use the 'Send Money' tab to start the process after logging into your PayPal account. You'll need to have the recipient's email address or phone number. The company does not charge a fee for money sent to family members or friends if the funds come from your cash balance.
2. Make a purchase. In addition to using PayPal to get paid, you can also use your account's cash balance to make purchases on eBay and numerous other online retailers. The PayPal Shopping website can point you toward more than 450 stores that accept PayPal.
3. Ask PayPal to send you a check for money deposited into your account. Go to the 'Withdraw' link after logging into your account, then select 'Request a check.' Note that a fee of $1.50 applies to each check that you request. PayPal states that you should expect the check to arrive within two weeks.
4. Transfer money to your bank account. To connect your PayPal account to your bank account, go to the 'Profile' link in PayPal, then select 'Add or Edit Bank Account.' You'll need to have your bank's routing number and your account number available. It may take PayPal a few days to verify your account information. PayPal does not charge a fee to send money to your bank account; make sure your bank does not impose any fees on your account to receive the money. PayPal notes the transfer can take up to four business days, depending on your bank's policies.
