Does My Money Have to Stay in My PayPal Account?

Transfer to a Bank Account
If you'd like your money quickly and with no limits on how you can use it, transferring PayPal funds to your bank account is the best choice, and it's absolutely free. In order to make a transfer to your bank account, you first have to set up your bank account information in your PayPal account. Log in to your PayPal account. On the My Account tab, in the Profile option, choose Add or Edit Bank Account. Input and save your bank account information. PayPal will verify the information with your bank, which may take several days depending on your bank and the day of the week you input the information.Once the bank information is verified, you can make transfers to your bank account by choosing the My Account tab, Withdraw and Transfer to Bank Account. Identify the amount of the available PayPal balance you wish to transfer and process the withdrawal. It can take three to four business days before the money appears in your bank account, depending on your bank's policies.
Request a Check
If you want complete freedom of use, but don't wish to register your bank account with PayPal, you can request a check. In your PayPal account, on the My Account tab, choose Withdraw, and then Request a Check. Enter the amount you wish to receive and choose a mailing address. If you live in the United States, you should receive your check in a week or two. PayPal charges a fee of $1.50 for processing a check.
Use Paypal Debit Card
If you want instant access to funds received, you can apply for a PayPal debit card. The debit card can be used anywhere that accepts MasterCard and for cash advances. PayPal offers incentives for using the debit card for purchases and protection against unauthorized use of your card. To receive a debit card, you need to have a Premier or Business membership and go through an approval and verification process. Once approved, the card is mailed to the address specified in the application.
