How to Receive PayPal Payments With Only a Debit Card

1. Create a PayPal account. Log into paypal.com and click the link that says 'Sign Up' on the top of the page. Follow the prompts to establish the type of account you need (personal, premier, student or business). You will need to provide your email address, physical address and phone number. Be sure to carefully read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy before agreeing to it.
2. Pay for your purchases directly from your bank account. Once you sign up for your PayPal account, you will be taken to a page that allows you to choose between 'Pay with my bank account' and 'pay with my credit card.' Click the 'continue' button under 'Pay with my bank account.' Enter the name of your bank, the type of account you would like to pay from (checking or savings), your bank's routing number and your account number. Receive funds from yourself. Select the 'add funds' link at the top of your PayPal home page once you have finished establishing your bank account.
3. Receive funds from someone else. Click the 'request money' tab at the top of your PayPal home page. Fill out the recipient's email address and the amount of money that you wish to receive for goods or services rendered. Or, select the 'Create an Invoice' tab at the top of the page (directly beneath the 'Request Money' tab) to send an invoice to a business. Simply fill out your address and phone number, the recipient's email, the amount you wish to receive and the item(s) for which payment is due. You may also include any shipping costs or taxes associated with the goods or services rendered.
4. Access your money with a PayPal debit card. Click the 'Products and Services' tab at the top of your home page. Then click the 'PayPal Debit Card' link below. Follow the prompts to verify and upgrade your PayPal account, and provide a shipping address. You will be sent a PayPal debit card in the mail that will allow you direct access to the PayPal payments you receive.
