How to Make a PayPal Donation Link

1. Sign into your PayPal account. Select the 'Merchant Services' tab. Click the 'Donate' link under the 'Create Buttons' category.
2. Click 'Customize Appearance' in order to change the button's size and image, as well as the country and language.
3. Select 'Donations' from the 'Accept payments for' category. Type in the name of your organization and input your Donation ID if you have one. Choose your currency. Decide whether you wish donors to contribute the amount of their choosing or a fixed amount. Indicate whether you would like your e-mail address identified with each transaction or a secure merchant ID.
4. Save your button. This is optional, but will allow you to easily edit the button later if you choose.
5. Customize the checkout page. Here, you can type in a message for the donor, request the donor's address, and direct the donor to a web page once they have completed the transaction.
6. Press 'Create Button.' This will generate the code for your button, which you can place on your organization's website.
