How to Block an eCheck With PayPal

1. Open an Internet browser and go to the PayPal website. Type your login information into the appropriate boxes. Click 'Log In.'
2. Click on the 'Profile' tab at the top of the page to see your Profile Summary. Click on 'Payment Receiving Preferences' located under 'Selling Preferences.'
3. Scroll down to 'Block the Following Payments:.' Click the check box next to 'Pay with eCheck or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay.' By default, this box is unchecked. When you click it, a check mark appears in the box, indicating that eChecks are now blocked. Click 'Save' to confirm your preference changes.
