How to Establish PayPal

1. Go to the PayPal homepage (see Resources below for a link) and click the 'Sign Up' link located at the top.
2. Select the country or region you want to use and select the language you want to use. Select the type of PayPal account you want to create and click 'Get Started.'
3. Type your email address in the 'Email Address' field. Create a password. Make sure that the password contains a minimum of eight characters. Retype the password.
4. Type your name, address and date of birth. Read the user agreement and privacy policy and click 'Agree and Create Account.' PayPal then sends you an email with a link to confirm your email address.
5. Log in to your email account and open the email PayPal sent you. Click the email confirmation link to launch the window. Enter your password and email to confirm. Your PayPal account is active and ready for use.
