How to Set Up a Music Download Via PayPal Payment

1. Upload your music file to your website's media files. Once the file is uploaded, copy the URL that is generated for the file.
2. Create a new page on your website as a place for customers to land once they've paid for your download through PayPal. On the page, create some text thanking your customer for the purchase, then create a 'Download Here' or similar type of text. Highlight the 'Download Here' text and press the 'hyperlink' button. When the URL window appears, paste the URL you copied in Step 1 into the box. When that's done, click 'Save' or 'Save Changes' to create the page. Copy the URL for the page you just created.
3. Log in to your PayPal account and navigate to the 'Merchant Services' tab, then select 'Buy Now Button.'
4. Fill in the information for the item in 'Step 1' of the Create a PayPal payment button, then click on 'Step 3.' Paste the URL you copied in Step 2 into the 'Take customers to this URL when they complete checkout' box and place a check mark in the box next to the selection. Click 'Create Button' at the bottom of the page.
5. Copy the code for the button that appears on the next screen.
6. Navigate back to the content management system of your website and open the page where you want the button to appear. Paste the code onto the page, then click 'Save Changes.' Your button should now be set up, with a link to the music file.
