How to Confirm PayPal Address Without a Credit Card
1. Log into your PayPal Account. Click “Get Verified” from the main menu bar. Click “Link Bank Account.”
2. Select “Checking” or “Savings” depending on your account type.
3. Enter your bank's nine-digit routing number, which can be found on the bottom left of a check. Enter your bank account number. Click “Confirm” to verify.
4. Check your email for a message from PayPal confirming the verification. This occurs after they attempt a small transaction with your bank account to ensure it is valid.
5. Visit a website that features PayPal transactions as a means to purchase items. These can include auction sites or transactions between any two people.
6. Complete 10 transactions where you are the buyer with 10 different people as the seller. This will raise your Buyer Reputation Number to 10, which is needed for the AAC.
7. Stay a member with PayPal for at least 90 days.
8. Click “Profile” from the main menu of PayPal. Select “Add or Edit Street Address.” Enter your street address into the box provided. You must use a United States address. Do not use a P.O. Box.
9. Check your inbox for an email from PayPal that contains a code. Click the provided link and enter the code. A fax cover letter will be sent to your inbox.
10. Print out the fax cover page and send a fax to PayPal at 402-537-5734 that includes the cover page, a copy of a state ID or driver's license, a copy of a utility bill or a copy of another document that shows your address. PayPal will switch your address to "confirmed" when all information has been received.
