How to Cancel PayPal Electronic Transfers from a Bank Account

Recurring Payments
1. Log in to your PayPal account by entering your email address and password.
2. Click the 'My Account' tab located near the top of the screen.
3. Under 'My Account,' choose 'Profile.'
4. Under the center Financial Information column, click 'Recurring Payments.'
5. Locate the receiver of recurring payments and click the link to view active payments.
6. Click 'Cancel' and follow the instructions given. Keep in mind that these payments cannot be reactivated.
Text Messaging and Other Options
7. Type 'cancel' or 'x' as the message along with the specific identifying information of the payment.
8. Input the PayPal text message number 729725 in the phone number line. Choose 'Send message' from your phone's menu.
9. Return the funds to your bank account once the PayPal transaction is complete by clicking 'Withdraw' from the menu located near the top of the computer screen of your online PayPal account.
10. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw from your PayPal account and choose the bank account where you want the money deposited.
11. Click 'Submit.' Your funds should be back in your bank account within three to five business days.
