Shopping online is very convenient, and you can use your PayPal debit card, and your PayPal account, to shop online. A growing number of Internet merchants now accept PayPal directly, allowing you to use your existing PayPal balance, as well as your linked bank account, to pay for your purchases. Even if the merchant does not accept direct PayPal payments, you can use your debit card to make a purchase, just as you would with any other debit card. While some smaller merchants might not accept debit cards, virtually all retail stores, restaurants and grocery stores do accept debit card payments. When you use your PayPal debit card for a retail store transaction, you might be able to get additional cash back. Many grocery stores, for instance, allow customers to request up to $100 cash back when they make a purchase with a debit card. That means you can use your PayPal debit card to pull cash from your account, without worrying about ATM fees. Since this type of cash back withdrawal is considered a point of sale transaction, there are no ATM fees to pay.
