Creating a PayPal Business Name

1. Launch your browser and go to PayPal's 'Getting Started' Web page.
2. Click the 'Go' button to set up an account. Fill out the form on the next page with all of your business information. Remember when filling out forms online to be as consistent as possible with your business name. This is part of branding your product or service and will allow your customers to correctly identify your business on statements.
3. Verify your account. You will receive an email with the instructions on how to do so. You will also be asked to add a bank account. This bank account should have the same business name as your PayPal account.
4. Implement a payment solution or solutions--tools that allow customers to make payments and you to process payments. Go to the 'Payment Solution' page and learn about PayPal's options, including: the 'Website Payments Standard' that allows you to add a button on your site to for credit card processing and 'Online Invoicing' that allows you to send an invoice automatically when a transaction has been completed. Another solution is 'Mass Payments' that allows you to give reward points and rebates to customers and clients.
