How to Change a Reason for Claim in PayPal


1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the 'Resolution Center' link in the top navigation menu.
3. Click the 'View Open Cases' link.
4. Click 'View' next to the claim that needs to be modified.
5. Click 'Change your reason for this claim' if the case has been escalated. Click 'Change your reason for this dispute' if the claim has not been escalated.
6. Click the claim reason field. Select the new reason from the drop-down list.
7. Click 'Continue' to save the changes.
