How to Add Funds to PayPal With a Credit Card

1. Set up a new email address, using a free, online email service, such as Gmail or Hotmail.
2. Log into your existing PayPal account. Click on the 'Request Money' tab that you will find among a row of tabs at the top of the welcome page.
3. Type your new email address into the 'Recipient's email address' box. Type the amount of money that you want to transfer to your PayPal account in the 'Amount' box. Click the radio button for either goods or services. It doesn't matter which one you choose; this is just for your records. Click 'Continue' to open the 'Request Money' page.
4. Check the details of the transaction on the Request for Money page. If your email address is correct and the amount of money you want to request is correct, click the 'Request Money' button. This will open a page confirming that your request for money has been sent.
5. Open your new email account. You will see that you have received a 'PayPal money request' email. Open the email and click on the link, which opens your PayPal invoice. Click 'Continue' to open the PayPal login page. Select the 'Sign up for a PayPal account continue checkout' option. This opens the 'Create a PayPal Account or Log In' page.
6. Complete the PayPal form, including your credit card details. Click 'Agree and Continue' to create your new PayPal account associated with your credit card. Follow the on-screen prompt to use your credit card to pay money into your original PayPal account.
