How to Update Your Credit Card Information With PayPal


1. Go to PayPal.com and sign into your account with your email address and password.
2. Click the "My Account" tab located in the PayPal navigation bar and hover over "Profile." Select "Add or Edit Credit Card" from the drop-down menu. A page will open showing a list of the credit cards added to your PayPal account.
3. Click "Edit" next to the credit card you want to update.

1. Log in to your Paypal account and click the “Profile” tab. Select “Email” and write your primary Paypal email address as it appears on the screen. Click “Back to Profile Summary” and select “Instant Payment Notification Preferences.”
2. Click “Edit” and place a check mark in the notification preferences box to turn the feature on. Input your Zencart store’s Instant Payment Notification URL and click “Save” to set the URL. Locate this URL in the Paypal payment module of the Zencart admin screen.

7. Set your Zencart options based on how you want Zencart to notify you of transactions or errors. Review your configuration and save your changes.

How to Increase the Payment Limit of a PayPal Account


1. Confirm the email address you used to sign up for PayPal. Follow the instruction in the 'Welcome' email to confirm your email.
2. Linking and confirming a valid credit or debit card will also raise your payment limit. PayPal confirms a credit card by charging a small amount to the card (the amount is refunded to your PayPal account once your card is confirmed). This charge will be accompanied by a 4-digit PIN associated with the charge---you should be able to find this 4-digit number on your credit card bill or by logging into your online banking account and viewing the charge. Once you enter those deposit amounts, PayPal will verify your bank account and raise your payment limit.
4. An alternate way to help increase your payment limit is to verify your physical address. PayPal will send a confirmation code by postal mail to your address. You can request this by visiting PayPal's 'Security Center' section and requesting it. Once the letter arrives in the mail, you'll need to log back into your PayPal account and enter the number to confirm your address.
5. Directly request PayPal to raise your limit. Visit their 'Resolution Center' on the website and look for the links on how to remove limitations (should be towards the top of the page). PayPal lists additional ways to increase your payment limit (including verifying a landline phone number) Follow the steps and submit your request to PayPal. According to the website, they attempt to resolve all requests within 3 business days.

How to Use a Debit Card on PayPal

Create a PayPal account by following the step-by-step instructions from the "Sign Up" link on the PayPal website. Click the "My Account" tab after you have created your PayPal account.
2. Add your debit card information and bank account information from separate links under the "Profile" tab.
3. Click the "Send Money" link to pay for purchases or services as long as the person/business you are paying has a PayPal account. Funds will come out of your checking account, and all transactions will be visible from the "My Account" tab.
