How to Change the Message in PayPal Checkout

1. Open your Custom Payment Page Styles page by first logging into your account. Once you arrive on the My Account Overview page, select the 'Profile' tab to bring up your Profile Summary. Select 'Custom Payment Page Styles' from the Selling Preferences column.
2. Select the 'Add' button to create your custom page. Your PayPal page will automatically be selected, and while an Edit button is available, you cannot edit the PayPal page style, since it is permanent, so you will need to add your own.
3. Enter your 'Page Style Name' up to 30 characters long. You can use letters, numbers and the underscore symbol, but no spaces or other symbols.
4. Create your 'Header' Image by linking to a valid URL from a secure server for your company banner. This banner should be a maximum of 750 pixels wide by 90 pixels high.
5. Change the colors in the message. Enter a Header Background Color, Header Border Color and Payment Flow Background Color using HTML hex code. This code is a six-digit number for the different colors just like web code, but do not include the # symbol in front of it. For example, black would be 000000 instead of #000000.
6. Preview and save your page, then make it your primary page. This will apply your new, co-branded checkout message page to all your transactions. Go once again to the Custom Payment Page Styles and select the 'Make Primary' button.
7. Add your customer service number to your page from the Customize Your Payment Page under the options tab. Select the check box for 'Display your phone number to customers under the Merchant service' options heading and click 'save.'
8. Add a survey to better understand your customers from the Merchant service options tab by checking the box for 'Add a customer service survey.' Questions -- such as 'How did you hear about us?' -- can help you better control your marketing strategies.
