According to PayPal's website, once an applicant is approved for the PayPal Extras MasterCard, an additional funding source is added to the applicant's PayPal account. The PayPal Extras MasterCard, however, may not be used to access PayPal funds. Cardholder Benefits
PayPal Extras MasterCard holders earn 'Reward Points' when they use their credit card for purchases.
