How to Secure My PayPal MasterCard Premier Business Card

1. Call the toll-free number on the front of your card to activate the card. Peel off the sticker.
2. Log into your PayPal account, using the email address and password attached to your account. This takes you to your home page, with a full listing of all transactions you've sent or received recently.
3. Look for the box titled My Account Tools. Select either the Debit Card or MasterCard option, depending on which one you need to secure.
4. Select the Add Backup Funding option from those available. Enter the full 16-digit account number of your card and any other information needed.
5. Enter the routing number and account number of your bank account or enter a different credit card number. When you click 'Enter,' it saves this information on your account. When you reach your limit on your account or run out of funds, PayPal uses your backup funding source to complete the transaction.
