Can I Send Money to a Limited PayPal Account?
PayPal
PayPal provides its users with an online money account that can be used to send or receive money and make payments. Unlike a bank account, users cannot deposit checks into this account but they can electronically link it to a bank account to transfer in funds, or they may be sent money electronically by another party.
Limited Account
When a PayPal account is designated 'limited,' the most typical restriction is that the account owner cannot withdraw money from the account electronically or by requesting a check. The limited PayPal account can continue to receive payments from others.
Resolving Limitations
To remove the restrictions on a limited account, the account owner should log in to her Paypal account and visit the Resolution Center. In many cases, limited account status can be resolved simply by confirming the user's geographic location or bank account information. In other cases, it may be necessary to contact PayPal's customer service to remove this restriction.
