How to Use PayPal at an ATM

1. Obtain a PayPal Debit Card. Sign into your PayPal account. Select 'Products and Services' and click on the 'PayPal Debit Card' link. You will need to verify your account, upgrade to a Premier or Business account, as well as fill out a short form to confirm your address. Make sure you have an additional credit card linked to your account for this purpose. Teens who open a Student Account with the help of their parents will have automatically applied for a Student Card as part of the package.
2. Activate your PayPal Debit Card by clicking the 'Profile' link on your account page. Click 'PayPal Debit Card,' select 'Activate Now' and follow the directions. Activate your Student Card by clicking 'Account Permissions' on your account page and following the directions.
3. Bring your PayPal Debit or Student Card to an ATM. Swipe your card or insert it into the machine. Enter your 4-digit pin number. When asked which account you would like to use, select 'Checking.' Enter the amount you would like to withdraw and confirm to complete the transaction. The funds will be deducted from your PayPal account.
