How to Add Paypal Buttons to Web Pages in Yahoo Sitebuilder
1. Open and run the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon in order to run the program. If you do not have a copy of this program you can get a free copy by using the resources links below.
2. Open the website you wish to add Paypal buttons into. To open a website that you wish to add Paypal buttons into, you will need to left-click on the “File” tab on the command bar. Scroll to “Open Site” and left-click; browse to the desired file and click “Open.”
3. Open the page that you wish to add Paypal buttons into. To open the desired page, scroll to the “File” tab on the command bar and select “Open Page.” Browse to the desired page and click “Open.”
4. Add Paypal buttons. There are two kinds of Paypal buttons that Yahoo Sitebuilder will allow you to add: 'Buy Now' buttons and 'Donation' buttons. Each is customizable, and you will need a valid Paypal email address. To insert a Paypal button scroll to the “Insert” tab on the command bar and select “Paypal Buttons.” Choose whether you want a “Buy Now” button or a “Donations” button. Once you choose the type of button that you want a button properties box will open. Select the first tab, “General,” and Enter your Paypal email address in the “Email Address” section. Name the item under “Item Name” and enter a desired item ID under “Item ID.” Set the amount of the purchase price under the “Amount” field and add any additional shipping and handling charges under the “Shipping” and the “Handling” fields.
5. Choose the advanced options. Under the “Advanced” tab you can specify the confirmation or cancellation pages that the user is taken to by clicking on the corresponding “Browse” button and selecting a page from within your site. You can also specify whether or not the button will accept a note from the buyer, the title of the note, and whether or not they can make multiple purchases. Finally, you can click the “Browse” button under “Logo Image” to browse to a desired logo image file on your computer. Click the “Okay” button to implement the Paypal button to your webpage.

How to Change the Name at the Top of PayPal Standard
1. Sign in to your PayPal account and click the 'Profile' link at the top of the main page.
2. Click the blue 'Change' link next to your name on the 'My Profile' page.
3. Click the radio button that corresponds to why you're requesting a name change. The choices are legal name change, misspelled name and changing the contact name on a business account.
4. Click the yellow 'Continue' button to proceed to the next screen.
5. Click the 'Upload Files' button to upload copies of the requested documentation. PayPal may ask for a copy of your driver's license or state-issued ID card showing your new name. It may also request a bank statement, credit card statement, utility bill or a copy of your social security card.
6. Click the 'Continue to Fax Cover Sheet' button if you would prefer to print a fax cover sheet and fax copies of the documents to PayPal.
7. Click the blue 'Address' link if you can't upload or fax your documents. The button will open a pop-up screen with the address to mail copies of your documentation along with the fax sheet. If you can't print the fax sheet, you must create your own with your PayPal email address and telephone number to mail with the copies of your documents.
How to Account for PayPal Fees on Schedule C
1. Total all the business-related fees you paid PayPal during the tax year for which you are preparing the Schedule C.
2. Type the total PayPal fees in Part V of Schedule C under 'Other Expenses.' Describe the expense as PayPal service charges.
3. Add all the separate expenses you listed in Part V of Schedule C. Write the total on lines 48 and 27 of the form.
4. Deduct your total business expenses from your total business earnings. Write the profit or loss on line 29 of Schedule C. Use that information to complete IRS form 1040.
How to Link PayPal to Craigslist
1. Navigate to the Craigslist homepage and click on the city in which you want to advertise.
2. Click 'Post to Classifieds.'
3. Click on the category that best describes your posting and click 'Continue.'
4. Click on a sub-category to better define your listing and click 'Continue.'
5. Fill in the posting title and email address boxes. Enter a price for your item or service if necessary. Type a succinct description of the item, service or job you are posting on Craigslist. Within the description, note that you may be paid or will pay through PayPal and include your PayPal email address in the posting. When you include your PayPal email address, substitute '[at]' for the '@' symbol in the address and '[dot]' for the '.' in the address to avoid spam bots stealing your information.
6. Click 'Continue.' Craigslist will send you an email verifying your ad posting. Click on the link in the email to publish your advertisement to the site.

Using a Credit Card
1. Open a browser. Go to Paypal.com.
2. Enter your username and password in the fields on the left side and hit the 'Log In' button.
3. Find the 'Profile' tab by going to the 'My Account' tab in the top left of the first page that appears. Click on 'My Account.' All the way to the right, the 'Profile' tab will appear.
4. Hover over 'Profile' and a drop-down menu will result. Go down to 'Add or Edit Credit Card' and click on it.
5. Click the gold 'Add a Card' button on right side of the next page.
6. Fill in the information that will be asked for on the next page. This will include your name, your credit card type and your billing address. Paypal will do the rest of the work by matching your address in its system with your credit card statement information.
7. Match your address to the one on your credit card. Go back to the profile tab drop-down and go to 'Add or Edit Address' and click it.
8. Click on the 'Edit' button if the address on the left side is not the address that your credit card statement is sent to. The next page will allow you to change address information.

9. Apply for an Alternate Address Conformation. If you have been a Paypal member for longer than 90 days, have a buyer reputation of at least 10 and be a are verified member of Paypal, the system will mail you instructions on how to confirm your address without a credit card. The system will know to do this because you have not confirmed your address with a credit within 90 days.
10. Enter the secret code into the PayPal Web site. The secret code will be sent to your mailing address that you have entered in the PayPal system.
11. Fax required documents to PayPal. These documents will be used to make sure that you live and receive mail and live at the location that you have indicated on the PayPal system.

12. Open a browser and go to Paypal.com.
13. Enter your username and password on the left side and hit the 'Log In' button.
14. Click on the 'Apply Now' link on the next page. This link will be located to the right and below the welcome message that says, 'Welcome, Your Name.'

How to Use Prepaid Cards to Link With Accounts
1. Access the website for your prepaid card. The website usually is listed on the back of your card or was given to you when your card was mailed to you. You may need to register with the site in order to access your account online. If for any reason you can't find the website, call the customer service number on the back of your card to get the web address.
2. Find a section on the prepaid card website that provides direct deposit information. It will send you to a printable form that gives the card's bank routing number and the checking account number that corresponds to your card. You won't need to print this form out, but keep the routing and checking account numbers on hand.
3. Access your checking, savings or PayPal account online. Look for links that say 'Add a checking account.' Using the checking and routing numbers you have on hand from logging into your prepaid card account, enter your card as a checking account to link your two accounts. In some cases, you may receive notification that your bank will make one or two small deposits into your prepaid card. It typically takes two business days for these deposits to show up.
4. Access your prepaid card account online and check the deposits. Within a week of linking your card with your bank or PayPal account, you should see the small deposits made into your account. These deposits will be less than $1.00. Keep the exact amounts on hand.
5. Access your bank account online. You should immediately be notified that you need to verify the deposits. Enter the deposit amounts exactly as they are seen in your prepaid card's deposit log. Once the amounts you have entered are verified, you have successfully linked the two accounts, and can now transfer money between them. Transfers typically take two business days to complete.

1. Start a PayPal account by visiting http://www.paypal.com. Click on the “Sign up” link at the top right of the page or below the email sign-in form on the left-hand side of the page. Choose whether your account will be personal, premier or business.
2. Enter your checking account and credit card numbers and the other requested information such as your mailing address and email address. Confirm your membership by opening the email PayPal sends to the address you entered during the sign-up process. Write down your password and keep it in a secure place. When you return to PayPal to login, enter your email address and password.
3. Click on the “Send Money” tab in the top navigation menu to pay for products or services. You need the email address or mobile phone number of the recipient. The recipient does not need to be a PayPal account holder.
4. Select whether your transaction is a purchase for goods and services or for personal reasons such as a gift or for living expenses. Enter the dollar amount and click “Continue.” PayPal will show a summary of your order. At the bottom of the screen, you can customize an email message. Click “Send Money” when you’ve finished completing the form. PayPal will show you a confirmation and send the email to the recipient.
