How to Transfer Money With American Express
1. Log on to PayPal. If you do not have an account, you can set one up in about two to three days--enough time for PayPal to verify your bank account. Then you will be able to start sending and receiving money. The person you are sending the money to should have a PayPal account as well.
2. Link your PayPal account with your American Express card. Mouse over 'Profile' in the header tab. Click on 'Add Credit Card.' Click on 'Add a Card.' Click on the drop-down menu and select 'American Express.' Enter the Card and Verification numbers. Verify the billing address. Click 'Add Card.'
3. Scroll to the top of the screen and click on the 'Send Money.' Enter in the person's email address or mobile number. Enter in the amount of money and the type of currency you are sending. PayPal will charge your American Express card.
4. Review the amount before you send the money. This will send the money to the person instantaneously.
5. Contact the recipient and alert him that his money has been sent. If the person has a PayPal debit card, he can use the money right away. If not, he can keep the money in his PayPal account and spend it online where PayPal is accepted. He can also have PayPal transfer the money to his bank account, but that can take up to four business days.
6. Log on to MoneyGram's website to send money online. Make sure your American Express card is linked to your MoneyGram account. Click 'Send Online' and choose the country and the receive option. Enter the amount of money you are sending. The amount is sent automatically.

2. Register with Moneybookers. This service is another option for those looking to send money online via the ACH. You can transfer money from your bank account into your Moneybookers account and send money to anyone else registered with Moneybookers. The receiving party can then use the ACH to transfer money into her bank account.
3. Use the Obopay service. Obopay is an online payment service that allows you to send and receive money over the Internet. In addition to transferring to and from your bank account via the ACH, Obopay also provides a debit card that gives you instant access to the funds in your Obopay account.

What Are PayPal Withdrawal Limits?
Unverified Accounts
As of March 2011, PayPal allows you to use its service with certain limits until you verify your personal information. PayPal states on its website that these restrictions are for security reasons. PayPal requests your credit card or bank account information but prefers the latter so it can send and withdraw money directly from your account and avoid the transaction fees associated with credit companies. It also requests your personal information to simplify the process of monitoring for fraudulent activities. Until you provide this information, PayPal places restrictions on your account that may only affect you if you make large or frequent transactions.
Your Withdrawal Limit
Until you verify your account, you may only withdraw a total of $500 per month from PayPal. You can receive payments of $300, $50, $20 and $30, for example, and still be within $100 of your limit for any given month. The beginning of the month for you may vary from other users since PayPal bases it on when you open your account. For example, if you open your account on the 15th of the month, your months start on the 15th.
Transaction Limits
You may send one payment of no more than $4,000 if you don't have a PayPal account, but you can't receive money through PayPal. If you do have an account, you can send up to $10,000 in a single transaction. With a verified account, there is no limit on the total amount of money you can send with PayPal; with an unverified account, there is a limit, which varies by user.
Lifting Your Limit
To learn the withdrawal and transaction limits on your PayPal account, sign in, click the 'My Account' link then click 'View Limits.' Click 'Lift My Limits' and follow the instructions to receive higher limits on your account. You may have to verify your account.

Can I Add Funds From a PayPal Line of Credit to My Debit Card?
Linking PayPal to a Bank Account
PayPal allows users to link their accounts directly to a bank account. When PayPal links to a checking account, it deposits money directly into that account via electronic transfer. This money then becomes available in the debit account of the user. PayPal does not allow users to transfer funds not available in an account to a bank account, meaning the direct link between a PayPal account and a checking account cannot be used as a line of credit. All transfers must be completed manually. The company sends physical checks to users for a fee of $1.50, as of the date of publication.
The PayPal Debit Card
PayPal offers a debit card in conjunction with MasterCard. This card allows users to withdraw money from a PayPal account from any ATM worldwide and can be used at any point of sale accepting MasterCard. The funds for the PayPal debit card come directly from the account of the user. If a user wishes to spend more money than a PayPal account holds, that user may connect the PayPal debit card to a bank account. This protects users from overdrafts or potentially denied purchases. The PayPal MasterCard can connect to a debit account, though does not provide a line of credit to users.
The PayPal Credit Card
PayPal offers a credit card to users, also in conjuction with MasterCard. This card works just like a regular credit card. It extends a predetermined line of credit to users and offers points on the purchase of certain items. The PayPal MasterCard allows users to withdraw cash from PayPal accounts at ATMs and make payments on the card directly from a PayPal account. The PayPal credit card does not allow users to connect the line of credit extended by the card to any other line of credit such as a debit card account.
PayPal Smart Connect
PayPal Smart Connect constitutes a line of credit available to PayPal members. Site members sign up for Smart Connect through their accounts. PayPal must approve users for the service. Once approved, users may purchase items on credit from their PayPal accounts. The company specifies the amount of credit available to each Smart Connect approved member upon approving individuals for the program. Users cannot connect the Smart Connect credit line to a debit or credit card; all credit purchases are billed directly to an individual's PayPal account and must be purchased through that account.
Shopping Online with PayPal
PayPal users have the option of purchasing items online through PayPal accounts without the use of Smart Connect or a PayPal debit or credit card. Certain websites connect to PayPal, so that when a user purchases an item, that user enters his or her PayPal account information and the site withdraws payment directly from the account. Users without funds in their accounts cannot use this function. Purchasing items in this manner circumvents the need for a credit or debit card or bank account when making online purchases.
How do I Add PayPal Codes?

3. Use the menus and follow the prompts to enter the information for your PayPal element and specify the characteristics. For example, if creating a gift certificate, type in the Web address where customers will redeem the certificate and use the 'Choose background' menu to set a color layout and theme.
4. Click 'Create Button' at the bottom of the page and click the 'Website' or 'Email' tab to copy the data that goes into your Web page code or into the body of an email message.
