How to Disable Credit Card Payments With Paypal and Donate

1. Login to your PayPal account. Click on the 'Merchant Services' tab. Look under the 'Create Buttons' section. Click on the 'Donate' link.
2. Click the drop down menu for 'Choose Button Type.' Select 'Donations' from the drop down list.
3. Enter the name of your organization or the name of the service the donations are for in the 'Organization/Name Service' field. If you want to assign a special code to identify your donations, you can enter the code in the 'Donation ID' field. This field is optional.
4. Click the drop down menu for 'Currency.' Select the currency you would like to receive for your donations. For example, select 'USD' if you want your currency to be received in US Dollars.
5. Select the option labeled 'Donors Enter Their Own Contribution Amount' if you don't want to specify a contribution amount. Otherwise, select 'Donors Contribute A Fixed Amount' and enter the suggested amount(s) you are requesting donors to contribute.
6. Click the 'Create Button' at the bottom to create your new button. You will then be taken to a page that contains HTML code.
7. Click on the 'Select Code' button under the 'Website' tab. This will copy all of the HTML code to your virtual clipboard.
8. Login to the 'Control Panel' of your website. Click on the 'Site Builder' or 'File Directory' option to locate the page on which you want to add the donation button. Click 'Edit' to open the HTML editor for the page.
9. Locate the code for the current PayPal credit card button that you have on your website. Delete this code from your HTML editor.
10. Paste the new HTML code for the donation button in the same place the code was deleted from in the previous step. To paste the code, simultaneously press 'Ctrl' + 'V' on your keyboard.
11. Click the 'Save' option to save your changes. Click 'Publish'. Now, your website visitors can begin using the Donation button.
