How to Change the Message in PayPal Checkout

1. Open your Custom Payment Page Styles page by first logging into your account. Once you arrive on the My Account Overview page, select the 'Profile' tab to bring up your Profile Summary. Select 'Custom Payment Page Styles' from the Selling Preferences column.
2. Select the 'Add' button to create your custom page. Your PayPal page will automatically be selected, and while an Edit button is available, you cannot edit the PayPal page style, since it is permanent, so you will need to add your own.
3. Enter your 'Page Style Name' up to 30 characters long. You can use letters, numbers and the underscore symbol, but no spaces or other symbols.
4. Create your 'Header' Image by linking to a valid URL from a secure server for your company banner. This banner should be a maximum of 750 pixels wide by 90 pixels high.
5. Change the colors in the message. Enter a Header Background Color, Header Border Color and Payment Flow Background Color using HTML hex code. This code is a six-digit number for the different colors just like web code, but do not include the # symbol in front of it. For example, black would be 000000 instead of #000000.
6. Preview and save your page, then make it your primary page. This will apply your new, co-branded checkout message page to all your transactions. Go once again to the Custom Payment Page Styles and select the 'Make Primary' button.
7. Add your customer service number to your page from the Customize Your Payment Page under the options tab. Select the check box for 'Display your phone number to customers under the Merchant service' options heading and click 'save.'
8. Add a survey to better understand your customers from the Merchant service options tab by checking the box for 'Add a customer service survey.' Questions -- such as 'How did you hear about us?' -- can help you better control your marketing strategies.

How to Complain Against PayPal

1. Read all of the links shown in the 'Legal Agreements for PayPal Services' page located on PayPal's website. Focus on the pages directed towards all users particularly the 'Closing Accounts and Limiting Account Access,' 'Buyer Complaint Policy,' and 'Fees Policy.' The information listed may address some of the PayPal complaints or explain why the unfortunate action by PayPal took place.
2. Visit the 'PayPal Help Center' by clicking on the 'Contact Us' link found on the bottom of the page and click the 'Ask the Community' button. Click the 'Post a topic' button and post your complaint by stating the problem. End it with a question asking for advice on the best way to resolve the issue. Top off the complaint by supplying a good title that best summarizes the complaint.
3. Go back to the 'PayPal Help Center' and click the 'Ask Now!' button found under the 'Ask Sarah' box. Virtual assistants are interactive, so take advantage by asking all the questions you can and opening up any concerns regarding PayPal. These assistants may point you to useful resources or redirect you to another help channel that helps settle the PayPal complaint.
4. Head to the 'PayPal Help Center' again and send an e-mail containing your PayPal complaint. Choose the best topic that matches your concern and use the same techniques applied in step two. Expect a reply within the same week. This method is effective for posting longer complaints that highlight more serious situations, like fraudulent transactions.
5. Back at the 'PayPal Help Center', click the 'Call us' link. Dial the number displayed on the page and a customer service representative will listen to your complaints and give you feedback.
