How to Auto Send an Item From PayPal
Preparing Your Website
1. Create a new folder on your website using any FTP client software, then upload your information product to that file. Copy the Web address, or URL, for this file.
2. Create a new page for your website, thanking your customers for their purchase. Include a link to the URL for the information product at the bottom of the page. Include instructions for the customer on how to access the file -- i.e., right-click to download -- and explain what is in the file they are downloading.
3. Insert the following code into the header of your Web page, below the title tags, to make sure your 'thank you' page and the link it contains is not listed in search engines: <META NAME='ROBOTS' CONTENT='NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW'>. Without this code, sales may be disappointing, as customers could find your products in Google for free.
Setting up PayPal
4. Log into PayPal using your email address and password, then click the 'Merchant Services' tab.
5. Select a 'Buy Now' button or 'Add to Cart' button.
6. Configure your button as desired, including the price for your item.
7. Click the arrow beside 'Step 3' to display additional options.
8. Click the box beside 'Take customers to this URL when they finish checkout' to place a check mark in that box.
9. Paste the Web address to your 'thank you' page into the field provided.
10. Click 'Create Button.' PayPal will then provide you with the code for that button.
11. Highlight the code for the button and paste it into the sales page on your website.
How Can I Close a PayPal Plus Credit Account?
1. Check your PayPal Credit account online. Access the main PayPal website (see 'Resources' section for link). Logon to your account. Click on your PayPal Credit account. If your account has an outstanding balance, you cannot close the account yet. (You can, however, close the credit line.)
2. Contact PayPal either via email or through their customer service number. Request a payoff on your credit account. This will come with a total amount due, an expiration date and a per diem (a dollar amount required daily in addition to the total amount due).
3. Payoff the PayPal credit account. This can be done online, with a check or through an e-bill payment system at your bank. Confirm the payment went through by logging on a few days later.
4. Contact PayPal again. You may want to call to close the account. Speak to an account servicing representative. Explain that you wish to close your account and cancel the credit line. Ask for a paid-in-full letter that shows a zero balance and no credit access.
5. Retain this letter in your financial records.
How to Make a Comcast Payment
Online
1. Visit the Comcast website and click 'Pay you bill' on the right side under the 'Current Customers' section. Enter your username or email and password in the designated fields and click 'Sign In.' Choose whether you want to make your payment with a credit card or checking account. Choose the 'Do it Once' option.
2. Enter the amount that you want to pay. For a checking account payment, enter your bank routing number and account information. If you are making a credit/debit card payment, enter your credit card number, expiration date and security code in the fields provided.
3. Confirm your payment information and click 'Authorize' to complete the transaction. Write down the confirmation number for the payment and keep it for future reference.
Phone
4. Locate the Speedpay toll-free number on your billing statement and dial the number. Comcast offers customers the option to pay over phone through a service called Speedpay.
5. Navigate through the Interactive Voice Response system to make your payment. The system will ask you to enter account information and payment amount to complete the transaction.
6. Provide your Comcast account number and payment information. Wait for your confirmation number and write it down to keep for your records.
In Person
7. Visit the Comcast website to find a local Comcast payment center. Click 'Find a Service Center' at the bottom of the page under the heading, 'Billing/Support.'
8. Enter your address and click 'Find' to begin the search. Review the list of service centers and go to the preferred location.
9. Present your bill and payment to the service representative. Depending on the location, cash, credit cards, checks and money orders are accepted. Take your receipt and keep for your records.
Does a Bill
Identification
Your Bill-Me-Later balance does not show up your credit report, according to the Consumerist. This service runs a hard inquiry, however, so it will do five or fewer points damage to your score. The Bill Me Later website claims that it only runs a hard inquiry once and subsequent checks on your score, usually for a increase in your buying power, count as a review. The major credit bureaus disregard account reviews when calculating your credit score.
Default on Bill-Me-Later Balance
As with any bill, Bill Me Later can send a delinquent account to an outside collections agency or more likely, its in-house collection agency. Once your account goes to a collection agency, your balance will show up on your credit report. This can only further harm your credit score and Bill Me Later can add charges to the account related to collecting the outstanding balance.
Benefit of Not Appearing on Report
You probably would not want a Bill Me Later balance on your credit report because your spending limit is often close to your purchase, which could hurt your debt-to-credit utilization ratio. Financial experts, such as Kiplinger Personal Finance, suggest using no more than 30 percent of your total available credit limit to maximize your score.
Tip
Asking for a credit limit increase on your Bill Me Later account does not harm your score nor report to the credit bureaus. Instead of a hard pull, Bill Me Later looks at your initial credit score and your payment history with the company. As long as you pay your bill before making a new purchase you should receive an automatic limit increase.

How to Accept Payments on eBay Without PayPal
1. Set up your own merchant account. A merchant account is a business bank account that allows you to process credit card payments securely online through your own third-party interface. This is one of the allowed alternative methods of payment acceptance on eBay. Contact the bank through which you have a business or personal bank account and inquire about the types of merchant account programs they offer. Shop around if the initial offer isn't to your liking. Avoid exorbitant setup fees by comparing offers from various reputable banks and online merchant-account providers. Ensure that your merchant account provides an online interface for your customers to pay for eBay transactions, as well as for you to keep records of your transactions and shipments.
2. Accept cash on delivery, or c.o.d. If you have a local warehouse or storefront, or you're willing to allow customers to come to your home or place of business to pick up the merchandise, eBay allows you to accept cash in exchange for goods handed over in person. You can also accept c.o.d. if you're willing to deliver the merchandise to the customer's home or place of business. Factor in the cost of in-person delivery into your final auction price.
3. Register for one of the alternative online payment-transaction services eBay is willing to accept aside from PayPal. These services include ProPay, Moneybookers and Paymate. All of these services work similarly to PayPal. Customers can fund the payment with their bank accounts or credit cards, and merchants transfer the funds into their own bank accounts. Compare the fee structures, services for online auctions and terms of service for each company to determine which one may be right for you.
