How to Increase a PayPal Withdrawal Limit


1. Log in to PayPal. Click 'My Account,' then click 'Profile.' Click 'My Money' from the left pane under 'My Profile.' New content will appear on the right side of the page.
2. Verify either your bank account or credit and debit card by clicking the blue 'Update' link next to either option. Although the verification process varies depending on what type of bank account you're using or if you choose a credit card, you will need to fill in all fields on the verification page. PayPal will inform you how to complete the verification process, which usually involves logging in to your bank account from PayPal or confirming PayPal deposits or charges to your account. You will only incur a charge if you attempt to verify your credit card, and the charge will be reversed.
3. Click 'View Limits' at the top left of your page under the blue tabs. Click the yellow 'Lift Limits' button. A message onscreen will confirm your limits have been lifted. You can then withdraw your money by clicking the 'Withdraw' button.

3. Click 'Remind' button next to the person's name whom you requested money for via PayPal.
4. Read the message on the subsequent page letting you know a reminder email has been sent.
5. Click 'Okay' on the following page to return to the PayPal homepage.

How to Calculate Your Payment to PayPal


1. Launch a Web browser and navigate to the PayPal Fee Calculator (see Resources).
2. Enter the PayPal fee rates that apply to the transaction. On standard purchases, PayPal charges 2.9 percent of the final cost plus 30 cents.
3. Type the purchase amount into the PayPal fee calculator and the payment to PayPal will be calculated automatically.

How to Sign Up for PayPal

1. Determine what type of PayPal account you need. There are three main types of accounts: a personal account for use with online shopping, a premier account for use with periodically selling online (such as on eBay) in addition to shopping, and a business account for business owners who do a majority of their commerce online.
2. Have a valid email address to use as your PayPal ID. All PayPal-related correspondence and financial transactions will be tied to this address. You may add up to five email addresses to your account, but you will need to designate one as a primary address.
3. Decide whether you want to have your PayPal account tied to a credit card or a bank account and have the account information at hand. Every PayPal account must be attached to some sort of already-established financial information.
4. Visit PayPal's website and click the 'Sign Up' link at the top of the page (see Resources below). Select your country, language and the type of account you have decided to open.
5. Fill in all the fields on the online informational form, making sure to choose a password which is both secure and easy to remember. Your password will need to be a string of at least eight characters and is case sensitive.
6. Read the user agreement in full before accepting it. Knowing the terms and conditions for sending and receiving funds will prevent misunderstandings in the future. Once you have read the agreement, check the box acknowledging that you accept it and submit your application form.
7. Watch your email for a confirmation message from PayPal. When you receive it, click on the provided confirmation link which should bring you to the PayPal homepage. Enter your password on this page and click the 'Confirm' button.

How to Send a Bill Payable to My PayPal


1. Navigate to PayPal.com and click 'Sign Up' to create a PayPal account (if you don't already have one).
2. Choose your country and language from the pull-down menus, then select the PayPal service you would like to use. All the accounts, including 'Personal' will allow you to send a bill payable to your PayPal account.
3. Fill in all the needed information on the next page, click 'Agree and Create Account' on the bottom.
4. Click the 'Request Money' tab, from inside your PayPal account.

How to Use PayPal With SiteBuilder


1. Download SiteBuilder from the Yahoo! site (see Resources for a link), if you haven't already. You will also need to go to PayPal and register for an account if you don't have one.
2. Install SiteBuilder by double-clicking on the downloaded file. Follow the installation wizard to completely installed the program.
3. Run the program and set up your website. Use the buttons and settings to build your website the way you want it.
4. Navigate to the area of the website that you want to add the PayPal button. You can open a particular page by clicking on 'File > Open.'
5. Click on the 'Insert' tab on the command bar. Click on 'PayPal Buttons.' Choose on the type of PayPal button you want to insert; there are two kinds, 'Buy Now' and 'Donations.' A Properties box opens for the type of button you choose.
6. Enter your email address associated with your PayPal account in the 'Email address' field. Enter the information for the item, such as 'Item Name,' 'Item ID,' 'Amount' and 'Shipping' charges.
7. Click on the 'Advanced' tab. Enter in the pages for confirmation or cancellation. These are the pages the visitors will be redirected to after they have purchased or canceled a service or product from you through PayPal. You can also add a logo to be shown on PayPal in this section. Click 'OK' to finish adding the 'PayPal' button to the page.
