How to Cancel a PayPal Account
1. Log into your account with your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password it can be retrieved and sent to the email account you used to open your PayPal account.
If you have forgotten which email address you used, go to the PayPal homepage and click on 'forgot email address.' When you signed up for the account you gave PayPal pertinent information about you, your address and your bank account. If you answer these questions correctly you will be supplied with your PayPal account email address.
2. Pay outstanding debt. See if you have any outstanding payments that have not been made by you that are owed to another person. All outstanding debt must be paid before you can close your PayPal account. If there is a transaction in dispute, it must be resolved or PayPal will not close your account.
3. Receive all payments. Go through your records and search for payments that may still be due to you.
If you have a balance when you close the account, PayPal will mail it to you or transfer it to your bank account. You cannot transfer funds to a credit card, however.
4. Understand that when you close your PayPal account it may never be reopened in that name again. You may still open a new account if the name needs to be changed for some reason.
5. Click on 'My Account' and then on 'Profile.' Then select 'Account Information' and 'Close Account.' Before the account can be closed you will be asked to confirm that you are the owner of the account through one or more questions, the first being your bank account number under which you opened the account.
Can I Deposit Directly Into My PayPal Account?
Starting With PayPal
When users sign up for a PayPal account they link their bank account, credit card or debit card to their PayPal account. Users can then use their PayPal account to pay for items instead of using their actual credit card information. This adds an extra level of security for the customer.
Adding Money
There are many ways to add money to a PayPal account. Users who sell items can choose to be paid via PayPal, which increases the balance of their account. Users can also use a MoneyPak to add funds directly to their PayPal accounts. As of 2010, depositing checks directly to a PayPal account is not an option.
PayPal Security
Many people worry about the security of depositing money to their PayPal account. Fortunately, PayPal has an extensive security system that includes heavy encryption. It is generally not possible to discover bank account or credit card information through PayPal. Users can increase the security of their PayPal deposits by choosing complex passwords for their accounts.

How to Transfer Money From E
1. Use an exchanger such as Plus Convert, which has its own website and offers to convert E-Gold money into Paypal funds. The Digital Point forums also have some users willing to convert the funds for you, as do the Money Maker Group forums.
2. Ask the exchanger more about the process, including the percentage he charges. An exchanger charges a percentage of the total amount as his fee for doing the conversion. This percentage is usually around 5 percent to 10 percent, though some charge a lower rate.
3. Read the feedback from the person or service, especially if you're using one of the forums. Digital Point and Money Maker Group have areas where users can talk and discuss with other users. If you're using a specific website for the exchange, look for the terms of service and ask any questions you might have first.
4. Contact the exchanger about the deal. You must send the exchanger your E-Gold username, Paypal email address and the total amount you want exchanged. The exchanger then contacts you with the details on when you send your money and when you'll receive the money back.
5. Send the payment to the exchanger, using your E-Gold account. The exchanger will take his percentage, then send the amount left over to your Paypal account, using the email address you supplied. Depending on the exchanger, it may take a few hours or up to several days before the funds appear in your account.
