How to Set Up Multiple Business PayPal Accounts

1. Sign up for a free Paypal personal account by visiting Paypal and clicking on the 'Sign Up' link at the very top of the page. Click on 'Get Started' under the personal account on the next screen, and the provide your email address, a new password, your name, address and telephone number on the sign-up form. Submit the form, and your new Paypal account has been created.
2. Provide your bank savings or checking account information to Paypal as the destination for funds you'll withdraw later as payments are received. Click on 'Profile' on the menu bar along the top of the page, and then click on 'Bank Accounts' under the 'Financial Information' heading to enter your account information.
3. Add multiple businesses to your personal account by again clicking on the 'Profile' option on the menu bar. Under the first heading, 'Account Information,' click on 'Email', then click on 'Add' on the following screen. You may now add the email address for up to seven additional businesses to your personal account. Note that creating multiple accounts is a violation of Paypal's User Agreement (see References), and will result in termination of all of your accounts.
4. Customize your PayPal payment button on each website you own by clicking on its 'Add More Options' button for each website. Under the, 'Choose an email address to receive payment' link, choose one of the email addresses you created earlier from the list provided to receive payments. By customizing the payment button on each of your websites, you'll now be able to track which website is responsible for every payment you receive.
5. Create a separate user account for your business, but only if your business has its own address, bank account and Employer Identification Number (EIN). A unique EIN and bank account entirely separate from your personal one is the only way that the same individual can make use of separate Paypal accounts without violating the Paypal User Agreement and risking account termination.
