How to Remove a Bank Account From a Suspended PayPal Account
1. Log in to your PayPal account via the homepage at PayPal.com. Enter your email address and password and hit the yellow 'Log In' button.
2. Click 'My Account' on the toolbar at the top of the page (this tab is automatically selected when you first log in). Go to the 'Profile' tab and select 'Add or Edit Bank Account' from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the blue 'Remove' link for each bank account listed for your PayPal account. Your accounts are identified by the last four digits of the account number.
4. Prevent withdrawals from your bank account by eliminating your PayPal account's association with your combination credit/debit card. Go to the 'Profile' tab and select 'Add or Edit Credit Card.' Locate the combination credit/debit card on the list (the last four digits of the card are displayed), then click 'Remove.'
5. Call PayPal's customer service line at (402) 935-2050 or (888) 221-1161 if your account is inaccessible because your password has been changed by a hacker or unauthorized user.
